Karolina Tomaszewska - "I Want To Create Miracles!"

Born in Poland and currently studying in Paris, Karolina has won numerous international piano competitions and has performed at prestigious venues like Carnegie Hall. 

Karolina recalls being captivated by a Chopin concert at the age of eight, a moment that sparked her desire to create "miracles" through music.

We discuss her journey into music, the influences that shaped her career, and her new innovative app, Focus On, designed to help musicians practice more efficiently using neuroscientific research to enhance learning and retention. Features like muscle memory training and interleaved practice aim to make practice sessions more effective and enjoyable. 

The Focus On app has already shown promising results, with testers reporting significant improvements in their practice habits and performance of aspiring musicians.

Currently Karolina is a student of Rena Shereshevskaya at the École normale de musique de Paris.


She also studied at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in Cologne with Sheila Arnold

Karolina has also won the Prix Pépite competition funded by the Ministry of Education in France. 


Karolina has taken part in festivals such as: "Chopin Open", "La Folle Journée Festival". 


As a prize winner of the International Piano Competition American Protégé she had her debut in the Carnegie Chamber Hall.
